Trip Principle

At the heart of change is connection.
During the course, we stimulate the mind and
give methods to the hands, but real progress comes from the heart.

We know that playing, laughing, and empathizing with your peers and professors is as important as what you're learning.

Accomedation

We will be Camping in tents provided for the whole  week. 

And indoor private room Accomedation is available for an extra cost upon request.

Program

We will be immersed in a permaculture program designed and Facilitated by the Kuwaiti permaculture facilitator Mohammed Jassim Al Kulaib. Everyday except for the weekend, there will be trips to Sintra a town near by where we will enjoy an organized adventure.

Meet the Team

It all begins with an idea. our two guides during the week transformative intro to permaculture and yoga week are Mohammed Alkulaib, from Kuwait. And Lauren from United States , California.

  • Yoga instructor and Educator

    AKA Haiku is a cultural animator, artist advocate, educator. Considering herself a contemporary renaissance woman, Haiku’s offerings are rich and diverse.

    For a trade she has traveled with successful musicians managing their international tours and live shows for over ten years and is a musician herself. during the week flow she engages in a deep yoga practice.

    With a deep embodiment of permaculture principles (2 certificates) and social permaculture (1 certificate) , regenerative design and philosophy guides all her life’s evolving work and teachings. Haiku has been sparking and facilitating women’s circles across the globe for 4 years and in deep study of radical eco-feminism. during the week she will be facilitating our community and women circles and yoga.

    Haiku is an independent scholar in this field. Haiku’s mission is to emancipate and educate women (and men) in order to rebalance the earth energies and call in partnership-focused, art-centered, land-based ways of being.

    She teaches the cyclical arts, cyclical time, and cyclical consciousness as pathways to reclaim our place as Earthlings.

    she’s A poet, yogini, teacher, tour manager, permaculturist, community weaver, painter, production sorceress, pilgrim, lover, scholar, scribe.

 

  • Meet Mohammed al Kulaib, a seasoned professional with an unwavering commitment to permaculture and regenerative agriculture.

    With a wealth of experience spanning 15 years. Having immersed himself in the realm of regenerative agriculture , mohammed has honed a unique perspective on permaculture that extends beyond theory into tangible, impactful solutions.

    For the past three years, he has been dedicated to cultivating regenerative solutions in the picturesque landscapes of Portugal, bringing forth innovative ideas and practices that breathe life into the earth.

    His journey extends further, with notable contributions to projects in Turkey, Kuwait and Qatar, where mohammed played a pivotal role in implementing regenerative strategies in challenging environments.

    Mohammed is more than a practitioner; he is a passionate advocate for a regenerative culture that fosters resilience and coexistence.

    Through their rich experiences and deep-rooted dedication, he continues to pave the way for a sustainable future, one where permaculture principles are not just a method but a way of life.

What is Permaculture?

Consciously designed landscapes, and environment which mimic the patterns and relationships found in nature, and earth, to yielding an abundance of food, fiber, and energy for sustaining of local needs.

Permaculture is a design philosophy, and It is a way of relating to nature and each other where we can thrive and regenerate life within and around us through the conscious practice of integrity and collaboration and community.

We will be applying and practicing and expanding on this through the 12 design principles of permaculture:

We will study together and explore curiously through workshops how the ethics and design principles. relate to each other and how THIS PHILOSOPHY AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES  can be used in a design process that related to our climate and nature in the Middle East and Kuwait
